Dr Haeyoung An

I am a specialist paediatrician as a fellow of Royal Australian College of Physician and member of Australian Society of Developmental Paediatrics. 
I have enjoyed colorful paediatric experience working as a general paediatrician in South Korea and Australia more than 20 years.
I welcome all paediatric cases, but I have a huge special interest in young people’s developmental and behavioural issues including developmental delay, ASD, ADHD or learning difficulty. I am also interested in parenting (challenging behaviour) so I welcome parents who want to make change with children.
I strongly value the attentive listening to what child or carer’s telling me during the consult, and also communicating with all relevant people such as teachers, other carers or allied health professionals.

I accept all young people from birth to age 16 years.

Appointments

  • Please send a new referral via email (info.pluspaediatrics@gmail.com) to make an appointment, then our reception will kindly contact you and guide about the booking date and relevant information. (online or email booking is not available) But please contact us in case you don’t get call from us in 7 days after your sending the referral.
  • A valid referral from your GP is required to claim the Medicare rebate. Referrals are valid for 12 months. A new referral is required after 12 months. 
  • For urgent matters, please ask your GP to contact our practice directly to arrange an earlier appointment as able. 
  • It is important that you confirm your availability for the appointment or cancel the appointment by responding to our reception’s call or contacting the practice directly 48-72 hours prior the consult, so that the appointment time can be offered to one of the other patients on the waiting list. We apply the cancellation fee according the policy you will be informed at the time of booking for the first appointment. 

Fees

  • Our practice is private paediatric practice and apply the private fee depending on the service provided on the day. You will be informed the fee details when you call to make an appointment. 
  • We require full payment of your account on the day of consultation. Payments may be made by cash, EFTPOS or credit card (Mastercard/Visa). Please contact us before the appointment if you have any queries or concerns.
  • Fees are subject to change and apply differently any time of the year.
